Terms and conditions of sale

These English service terms explain the conditions of distance sales by COCOON, a French limited liability company — ZOZZA. The contractual language is French. Read the complete French contractual text and statutory guarantee notice. This language provision does not remove any mandatory consumer protection applicable to you.

ZOZZA is operated by COCOON, share capital €30,000; registered in Vannes under SIREN 480 789 734; SIRET 480 789 734 00047; VAT FR69 480789734. Registered office and postal address: ZA de Beau Soleil, 56800 Guillac, France. Publication director: Philippe Offret. Contact: contact@zozza.fr, +33 2 44 84 10 20.

Complaints and mediation

First send a written complaint to contact@zozza.fr. If no satisfactory resolution is reached, an eligible consumer may use free mediation through AMBO — Association de Médiateurs Bretagne Ouest, 112 rue Colbert – B37, 56100 Lorient: AMBO consumer mediation. Statutory admissibility conditions apply, including the one-year period after the written complaint. Mediation does not prevent access to the competent courts.

Orders and products

Before committing, check the description, dimensions, materials, finish, total price, delivery terms and payment options. You may correct your cart and details. Online acceptance is recorded by the terms checkbox and a final button identifying the obligation to pay. Orders are confirmed by email after payment validation or agreement on the chosen payment terms. Email orders require an express acceptance of the prior offer and terms. No substitution, essential product change or revised delivery date is imposed without agreement. Photographs and agreed descriptions are contractual; natural variations do not remove conformity rights.

The version accepted at purchase applies. Terms and withdrawal information accompany the confirmation on a durable medium. Electronic contracts of at least €120 are archived for ten years under applicable law and may be requested from contact@zozza.fr.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros, including applicable EU VAT. Delivery is additional unless stated otherwise; the complete amount is presented before commitment and cannot be increased unilaterally after the sale. Available methods depend on the order, destination and provider. Card authentication, instalment amounts, dates, costs and eligibility are presented before acceptance. PayPal, transfers or cheques apply only when actually offered. Cheques, if offered, are payable to SARL COCOON and sent to our registered office with the order reference. Any credit offer is subject to its lender’s pre-contract information and acceptance.

ZOZZA serves mainland France (including Corsica), Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland. We do not deliver to Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland or the United Kingdom. Services and restrictions depend on the address and are explained before purchase.

Delivery to Switzerland

ZOZZA delivers to Switzerland. For Swiss deliveries, goods are invoiced excluding French VAT. Delivery is charged at the tax-inclusive amount shown in our Swiss transport tariff: French VAT is not deducted from that delivery amount. The transport band is based on the reference value of the goods including tax, before French VAT is removed from the goods.

The transport paid to ZOZZA covers the agreed journey and is not charged a second time on delivery. Swiss import VAT, customs clearance charges and any applicable import levies are separate and payable by you; they may be collected by the carrier or Swiss authorities. Their amount depends on the applicable import rules and services. Contact our team before ordering to clarify these arrangements and the service available at your address.

Cost, availability and appointment

The final price, applicable VAT, delivery service and agreed delivery date or period are given before you commit. A dispatch estimate is distinct from transport time. We contribute to outward transport costs; the delivery charge is your participation, not necessarily the full carrier cost. One order may arrive in separate deliveries without charging delivery twice; separate delivery addresses require separate orders.

Express or Premium

Where offered, Express is a kerbside delivery on an accessible hard surface, without carrying the goods inside. Usual transit is two to five working days after dispatch. Where offered, Premium delivers to the agreed room, with unpacking and packaging removal, subject to agreed access; usual transit is five to twelve working days after dispatch. These are transport indications; the date agreed before your order applies. Special handling, lifting and difficult access require an arrangement and price agreed in advance.

Tell us about stairs, narrow doors, lifts and other access constraints. For islands requiring a mainland quayside service, the handover point and onward journey arrangements are agreed before ordering. A justified additional presentation cost caused by an address error or missed appointment is explained and agreed before any further intervention; it is not an automatic penalty.

Receiving your furniture

Inspect parcels and their contents with the driver where possible, record specific visible damage and take photographs. You may refuse visibly damaged goods. Inability to unpack in front of the driver or absence of delivery reservations does not remove your statutory rights. Contact us promptly if you discover damage or an error.

Collection and reuse

Free collection is available by prior arrangement from Showroom COCOON, ZA de Beau Soleil, 56800 Guillac, France; call +33 2 44 84 10 20 first. The collection point opens Monday to Saturday, 10am–6pm. Where French take-back rules apply, we arrange free one-for-one collection of equivalent used furniture at the agreed delivery point; tell us before delivery so we can explain preparation and access.

Delay

We must meet the agreed date or period. If none was agreed, delivery is due without undue delay and within thirty days of the contract. Following a formal request and a reasonable additional period, you may terminate for non-delivery; immediate termination applies in the statutory cases. Amounts paid are refunded within fourteen days of termination.

Thirty days to change your mind

For deliveries to the EU countries we serve, notify us within thirty days of receiving your furniture (or the last item in an order delivered separately). This commercial extension does not reduce your statutory fourteen-day withdrawal right. Notify contact@zozza.fr, use our contact page or write to COCOON — ZOZZA, ZA de Beau Soleil, 56800 Guillac, France. No reason or prior authorisation is required.

Return the goods without undue delay and within fourteen days of giving notice, unless we offer to collect them. Examine the furniture as needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Handling beyond this may result in a deduction for diminished value under applicable law, but does not automatically remove your right. Protect the item and include its accessories and instructions; original packaging is recommended, not a condition of the statutory right.

Return costs

Direct return costs for a change of mind are your responsibility, provided you were informed before purchase. You may appoint your own carrier or ask us to arrange collection. Indicative mainland France costs are €95 including tax per cubic metre for Express, subject to a €79 minimum per return, or €155 including tax per cubic metre for Premium, subject to a €155 minimum. A specialised or international return requires a suitable pre-purchase cost or estimate. If we arrange collection, the price is agreed before collection; only the actual carrier cost is charged, without a handling surcharge. Our contribution to the original outward transport remains our responsibility.

Refund

We refund payments, including standard outward delivery, within fourteen days after notification. Unless we offer collection, the refund may be withheld until the goods are received or proof of dispatch is supplied, whichever occurs first. The additional cost of an expressly chosen delivery service more expensive than standard delivery is not refundable under the statutory withdrawal right. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no cost. A paid return is settled or deducted only as agreed, without double charging.

Personalised goods and faults

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from withdrawal where you are informed before purchase. Manufacture after ordering or a standard finish alone does not automatically justify exclusion. Statutory guarantees remain applicable. Faulty or non-conforming goods are handled under the guarantees, without charging the return costs of a change-of-mind return.

Model withdrawal notice

To COCOON — ZOZZA, ZA de Beau Soleil, 56800 Guillac, France; contact@zozza.fr: I/We hereby give notice of withdrawal from the contract for the following goods/services: … Ordered on/received on: … Name: … Address: … Date: … Signature (paper notices only): … Delete whichever does not apply. A clear statement of your decision is sufficient; the model is optional.

Statutory guarantees

The seller is COCOON — ZOZZA at the address above. You benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee and the latent-defect guarantee. For new goods, conformity protection runs for two years after delivery; during that period you need to establish the defect, not when it arose. Repair or replacement must be provided without charge, major inconvenience or a delay exceeding thirty days. A price reduction or termination may be available in the statutory cases, including refusal, serious defects, persistent defects or failure to remedy within the required time. A minor defect does not entitle you to terminate. Repairs may extend the guarantee by six months; where replacement is imposed instead of a requested repair, a new two-year period applies. Immobilisation suspends the remaining guarantee as provided by law. Latent defects may be claimed within two years of discovery under articles 1641–1649 of the French Civil Code.

Three-year commercial furniture guarantee

Furniture sold with the ZOZZA guarantee is covered for manufacturing defects for three years in total from delivery, without an additional premium, in the countries we serve. This adds to statutory rights. Covered repair or replacement includes necessary parts, labour and transport. If neither is possible, a refund is proposed or a price reduction may be agreed. Contact us with proof of purchase or your order reference before dispatch so collection can be organised. Normal wear, accidents, unsuitable use, unauthorised modification and incompatible exposure to water, humidity or heat are excluded. Natural wood variations are not defects in themselves when consistent with the description, but a genuine manufacturing fault or non-conformity cannot be dismissed on that basis.

Applicable law and data

French law applies subject to conflict-of-law rules and mandatory protections in your country. Competent courts remain available. We process necessary data for the contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent, do not sell or rent customer data, and provide the rights described in our privacy policy. Version adapted for ZOZZA on 17 October 2026.
